The Dining Room
The Dining Room provides a superb setting as a wedding venue and can accommodate up to one hundred seated or one hundred and thirty for buffets. It is frequently used for club functions including dinner dances when the small wooden dance comes into play. Members are able to enjoy first rate dining facilities thanks to the in-house catering provided by Julie Holland and her staff. Julie will be pleased to quote for your special day whether it be for a wedding reception, birthday party or celebratory meal, family get together or a business lunch.
There are several well established luncheon clubs and societies, such as the Rotary and Probus Clubs, who take advantage of the excellent cuisine prepared by Julie and her team on a regular basis. Market Day Lunch is held every Wednesday with an three course roast lunch.
Whilst members enjoy these facilities at no cost, a room charge will be made for non-members or members’ friends, who wish to book the facility.
The Dining Room is fully air-conditioned and is equipped with wireless microphone and computer projector linked to an electrically operated roof mounted retractable screen making it ideal for business and video presentations.

The Ingram Room
The Ingram Room is a small room leading off the foyer that was originally a reading room in earlier times. It now provides an ideal venue for members wanting to dine in private, intimate surroundings away from the main area. It can comfortably accommodate up up to fourteen diners with full waitress and bar service.
The Ingram Room can also be used for private business meetings.
The Lounge Bar
Our spacious lounge bar is well stocked with both cask and conditioned beers, ciders, lagers and a large and varied selection of spirits and soft drinks. Bar meals are served from 12 noon to 2.00pm. on Monday to Saturday inclusive.
Adjoining the Members’ bar area at the back of the lounge is a large conservatory opening onto a small but private patio. Outdoor overhead cover is provided on the patio.
Snooker & Billards
The snooker room has three excellent tables, which are often in use from morning to night during club opening hours. The Club boasts an active snooker scene with in-house snooker leagues and members competitions held throughout the year. Social snooker is the byword!
The main Winter League is played as a team of four in two pairs with one point for a win and two for the aggregate score over the four frames.
Teams each have a pool of players of up to ten players from which to pick and a handicapping system levels the playing field (or not!). A fierce but friendly rivalry between all teams exists as they attempt to win the coveted League title. League nights are made by the non-playing pundits, who sit watching and would “never have played it like that!”.
